Terms and legal notice

Qatar Star League is an independent, unofficial site about Qatari club football, published by a private individual, not by a company, a club or a federation. It has no connection to Qatar Stars League Management, the Qatar Football Association, the Asian Football Confederation, FIFA, or any club named on these pages, and none of them has reviewed, approved or endorsed anything here.

The league's own site is qsl.qa. Tickets are sold by the league and the clubs. This site sells nothing, takes no payment, runs no competition and is not a ticket agent.

"Qatar Stars League", "Doha Bank Stars League", the club names and the competition names belong to their respective owners. They are used here descriptively, to identify the competitions and clubs being written about, which is what a site about them has to do. No sponsorship or association is implied by their use.

The coloured shields next to club names on this site are not club badges. Club crests are not free to reuse, so each mark here is drawn from that club's own first-kit colours with a three-letter code on it. Nothing on this site reproduces a club crest, a competition logo or a broadcaster's mark.

Everything here is written in good faith and sourced: tables and records from Wikipedia's Qatari football articles and from the league's own standings and fixture pages, each named under the table it belongs to, with the date it was read. Football data moves. A page that was right the day it was built can be wrong a week later, and nothing here is a live feed.

So: no warranty, of any kind, that the content is accurate, complete or current. Do not rely on it for anything that matters, financial or otherwise, and do not treat it as a betting resource; this site publishes no odds, no tips and no gambling content. If something is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed.

The written text, the page design, the club colour marks and the code of this site are its author's work. You are welcome to quote a sentence or two with a link back. Wholesale copying of the pages is not permitted.

Photographs are not ours. Each one comes from Wikimedia Commons under a Creative Commons licence, and each is credited to its photographer with a link to the file and to the licence, in the caption and again on the credits page. If you want to reuse a photograph, take it from Commons and follow its licence, not from here.

Data such as league tables, results and fixtures is factual and not itself subject to copyright; the words written around it are.

• A fact is wrong. Say which page, which number and what it should be. A source helps and the fix is usually same day.
• A photograph is yours and the credit is wrong, or you want it gone. Name the file; the attribution is corrected or the image is removed, no argument.
• A rights holder objects to how a name or mark is used. Write and say so. The use here is descriptive and the disclaimer is on every page, but a specific objection gets a specific answer.

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from use of this site or of any site it links to. Outbound links are to sources, not endorsements, and the sites at the other end are not under our control.
