Going to a match in Qatar
Ten riyals for general admission, sold online only, and no ticket desk at the ground. The whole trip costs less than a sandwich at a European stadium.
Tickets for every Qatar Stars League match are sold online at tickets.qsl.qa and through the QSL mobile app. General admission is 10 QAR, premium seating 30 QAR and VIP 200 QAR. You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the ticket arrives as a barcode you show at the gate.
Buy before you travel to the ground. The league sells online, and turning up expecting a window to be open is the one mistake that ends the evening before it starts.
What a ticket costs
| Category | Price | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| General admission | 10 QAR | Maximum 10 per booking |
| Premium seating | 30 QAR | Maximum 10 per booking |
| VIP | 200 QAR | Maximum 6 per booking |
| League Card, all matches | 1,300 QAR | Season card, maximum 6 per booking |
| League Card, one club's home matches | 100 QAR | Season card, maximum 6 per booking |
Prices, categories and booking limits from the league's own FAQ at qsl.qa, read on 5 October 2026. They are the league's figures, not ours, and they can change between seasons.
The two League Card lines are worth reading twice. A card for one club's home matches across the whole season is 100 QAR, which is ten league matches for the price of ten single general admission tickets, and the all-matches card is 1,300 QAR.
Where to buy, officially
Those three are the league's own pages. There is no other seller of a valid ticket, and this site has no arrangement with anyone.
Buying, step by step
- Open tickets.qsl.qa or the QSL app and pick the match.
- Choose how many tickets, up to the limit in the table above, and whether you want to print at home or keep the ticket on your phone.
- Log in, or fill the short registration form if this is your first time.
- Pay by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card payment is the only route; there is no cash option.
- The confirmation goes to the email address you registered. The e-ticket in it is the ticket, and does not need exchanging at the ground.
At the gate the barcode is scanned off your phone. If you would rather carry paper, print it on A4; a photograph of a screen is not something to rely on.
Getting there
Most league grounds in and around Doha sit within reach of the metro. The exception is the one worth knowing about before you commit to a match: Al Bayt Stadium is in Al Khor, well north of the city, and the metro does not go there.
| Venue | Nearest station |
|---|---|
| Khalifa International Stadium | Sport City station, Gold line |
| Lusail Stadium | Lusail station, Red line, about a 20 minute walk |
| Al Thumama | Free Zone station, Red line |
| Al Bayt Stadium | Lusail QNB station, Red line, the end of the line, and Al Khor is still some 35 km further north by road |
| Jassim Bin Hamad | Al Sudan station, Gold line |
| Ahmad Bin Ali | Al Riffa station, Green line |
| Abdullah Bin Khalifa | no metro station close by |
Station names from published stadium guides rather than from the league, and they agree with each other; check the current Doha Metro map before you set out, because lines and station names have been renamed before. Parking is on you: the league's FAQ asks spectators to find a space in the area around the ground.
What to expect at the ground
- Crowds are small. Most league grounds hold between 5,000 and 21,000 and are rarely full. A 10 QAR general admission ticket usually means a real choice of seat.
- Food and drink is from the ground's own concession. Each venue has an authorised vendor, and there is a published list of what you may not bring in.
- No alcohol. Qatari stadiums do not sell it.
- Kick-offs are late for a reason. 17:45 and 20:00 are the heat talking, not television. In September an evening match is still warm.
- Two matches a night, three nights a week. A round is six matches spread over three days, so a weekend in Doha can hold several.
This site does not sell tickets. It is not an agent, a reseller or a partner of anyone who is, and there is no affiliate link on this page. Everything above points at the league's own channels because those are the only ones that issue a valid ticket. If a site is reselling a 10 QAR ticket at a markup, that tells you what it is.
