How to watch the Qatar Stars League
Al Kass shows every match and streams its channels free on its own site. That is the short answer, and the rest of this page is the part nobody writes down.
Al Kass is the host broadcaster and carries all Qatar Stars League matches across the season. The league says so itself in its FAQ. Al Kass streams its channels live on shoof.alkass.net at no charge, and the same channels are on satellite across the Middle East and North Africa.
Outside that region there is no English-language rights holder we could confirm. If a site you have never heard of is offering the match, it does not have the rights. This page will not link to one.
Go straight to the broadcaster
The channels
| Channel | Live stream |
|---|---|
| Al Kass One | shoof.alkass.net |
| Al Kass Two | shoof.alkass.net |
| Al Kass Three | shoof.alkass.net |
| Al Kass Four | shoof.alkass.net |
Channel list and stream addresses from alkass.net, the broadcaster's own site, checked 5 October 2026. Which channel carries which match is published on the day, not in advance, so the reliable move is to open the Al Kass schedule rather than to guess a channel number.
Kick-off times where you are
This is the part that catches people out. League matches start at 17:45 and 20:00 Doha time, which is comfortable for a weekday evening in the Gulf and awkward almost everywhere else. The current round's exact times are on the front page.
| Where you are | Early match | Late match |
|---|---|---|
| Doha (AST, UTC+3) | 17:45 | 20:00 |
| London (BST, UTC+1) | 15:45 | 18:00 |
| Berlin and Paris (CEST, UTC+2) | 16:45 | 19:00 |
| Mumbai (IST, UTC+5:30) | 20:15 | 22:30 |
| New York (EDT, UTC−4) | 10:45 | 13:00 |
Qatar does not use daylight saving, so the gap to Europe changes twice a year while Doha stays put. The figures above are for European summer time; in winter add an hour to the London, Berlin and New York columns.
What usually goes wrong
- Searching the fixture by name. A search for two Qatari club names and the word "live" returns aggregator sites that do not hold the rights, carry redirects and often show nothing at all. Start from the broadcaster, not from the search box.
- Expecting English commentary. Al Kass commentates in Arabic. There is no official English feed for the league that we could find, and anybody promising one is worth a second look.
- Assuming the stream works everywhere. Free access to a broadcaster's stream is usually set up for its own market. If it does not play where you are, that is the rights, not your connection, and a workaround is not something this site is going to walk you through.
- Looking for the match on the league's site. qsl.qa publishes fixtures, results and reports, not video of the match.
If you cannot watch it
Two things the league does publish for free and in English, which are better than a bad stream. First, the official match report for every game, a PDF with both line-ups, every goal with its minute, every card with the reason for it and the full list of officials. Second, highlights on the league's own media pages. Both are linked from the fixture on the league's fixtures and results page.
And if you are in Qatar: a ticket to a league match costs 10 QAR. Going is cheaper than most ways of watching.
